După ce am aprobat designul, urmează etapă de șlefuire a dinților pentru fațetele dentare. În această etapă ne folosim de microscopul dentar pentru a asigura precizia și calitatea tratamentului. Microscopul ne permite să vedem dinții la un nivel foarte detaliat, mult mai clar decât cu ochiul liber. Această vizibilitate crescută ne ajută să îndepărtam doar o cantitate minimă de smalț de pe suprafața dinților, exact cât este necesar pentru a fixă fațetele.
Treatment Stages for Dental Veneers
Here are all the steps to achieve your dream smile with dental veneers:
Initial consultation
We will discuss your wishes and expectations, your health status, and take a set of intraoral and extraoral photographs, as well as a 3D scan of your teeth (consultation duration: approximately 1 hour).
Creating the Digital Treatment Plan
We'll happily work on your treatment plan while you enjoy your daily activities. In a later session, we'll present you with a few smile options, and together we'll choose the most suitable one for you (timeline: 1-3 days after the initial consultation).
Creating Dental Models for Your New Smile Test Drive
Once we decide together on your desired smile, we send all the data to our lab colleagues to create a physical dental model. Generally, our colleagues need 2-3 days to translate the model into a physical format.
Trying On the Smile
In this session, using a special material, we will transfer exactly how your new smile will look onto your teeth. At this stage, we can still make minor adjustments to the shape of the future veneers. Don't worry, the material is easily removed, and you'll go home with your current smile.
Tooth Preparation, Scanning for Final Ceramic Veneers, and Placement of Temporary Veneers (2-4 hours)
This stage is totally painless, the entire procedure taking place under anesthesia.To be minimally invasive, we use the dental microscope. In the end, you'll leave wearing some temporary veneers which look similar to the final ones but are made of a plastic material to protect your teeth
Applying the Final Veneers (2-4 hours)
After the impression stage, we allow our lab colleagues 2-3 weeks to craft the veneers, during which you can continue your daily activities as normal.
Follow-up Consultation After Final Veneer Placement (30 min duration)
After your veneers are placed, it's important for us to see you again in a few days. We want to ensure any residual adhesive is removed and that your bite is correct. Because teeth shift throughout life, annual check-ups are essential for checking your bite.
